my hubby d superman

d agent called saying that d owners r coming down to perth and they would wanna have a look at the hse. so she asked me to get the edging of d lawn done n clear out d weeds in between bricks front n back of hse.

i was thinking of hiring those mowing company to do it as we do not have the equipment o know any1 who has it. but guess we can save d money now cz my hubby, d great handyman got them done in 2 days without any weed killer o even d edging machine!!

jz d other time, d kitchen sink was blocked n all those acid u could buy from supermarket would not unblock the drainage. he then tried d pump but still no go. he reckoned d pipe is blocked somewhere between d kitchen n pool, which means we need a plumber. he said he'll try again n this time, he used his electrical stuff (some thick wire-like thing) n try jabbing it into d drain. d next thing, water in sink jz flushed away n d drain has never flushed out so fast b4!! so we saved a couple hundred dollars again. he can really do things around d hse, i'm so impressed, i'm in luv...

he is such a superman, i told him... then he said, "i wish, then i wont fall sick".

kesian my baby, he's gottan d virus too. but no matter what, u r always my superman!

scared d daylights out of me!!

had a horrible night, coughed so bad, my whole body hurts. kept waking up thus didn't get much sleep either.

woke up at 7.30am and couldn't get back to sleep so i thought i'd watch the morning news. then i realized the baby hasn't move so i drank a glass of cold water and sat. NOTHING. then i remembered that sugary foods would keep his active, so i took a glass of hot chocolate and some brownies and thought that should be sweet enough. sat for another 40mins. NOTHING.

next i jz went into a panic mode! called the hospital and asked to get checked. called hubby and he came home to drive me to the hospital. the whole time we were on the road, i had 2 small movements. a little relieved but still very very worried.

once at the hospital, i was so nervous i felt nauseous. the walk to the ward seemed so long.

the midwife put the CTG on my belly and i heard, "lub-dub lub-dub". i felt as if my heart could jump out of my chest!! was ultra relieved!! thank goodness bubba is doing alrite. for the next 30mins, his heart rate was good and he decided to wake up and started moving so actively, he made me felt silly for panicking in the first place...

i feel so bad for panicking and getting anthony to drop everything he was doing at work to get home. i know he's a great husband and supports me very well but i probably scared him too, i felt so bad...

argh!!

almost everytime we go over, we come home with something. this time it's a virus, flu i think cz i got most of the symptoms.

the funny thing is dat, i was told by this person that a virus cannot spread. i was thinking, "r u stupid or just doesn't want to take the blame for spreading a disease to everyone?". i didnt mind catching it but d fact that she's so ignorant just makes me angry! come on, if ur kids r sick, leave them at home!! dun bring them out n start a disease club! worst, i am pregnant 34weeks!!!! coughing like mad at this time is no good!!

i really feel like telling her off, bacteria spreads through contact n dats y we must wash our hands, n d fucking virus is fucking airborne!! as long as ur kids cough, n we breathe d same air, the risk is there, dumb dumb!!

can't beliv some people are so ignorant, irresponsible, noncivic-minded n jz plain fucking stupid!!

had a turbulent night yesterday.

i really don't how to react to it..

am i supposed to be mad? but it might just be a one-way thing...

but at least trying to convince me would've helped, or at least make me feel like you care about how i feel and lets me know that i mean something to you..

i've been wanting to write a new post ever since. but have nv get to it, mainly due to a hyper-active baby known as d monster annabelle. she's very fascinated with shiny things like blings, computers, mobiles, my wireless broadband usb n macam macam other things.. now that she's a super duper crawler, she's jz unstopable. she gives her mummy no peace n is constantly harrassing her poor mummy. on top of dat, she bites!!

tired...

hasnt been sleeping well since baby annabelle was born. feeling tired most of d time but couldnt sleep as i dun hav napping habit. if i sleep in d afternoon o evening, i will surely get headache when i wake up.

today is d 1st day i am able to go on9 to check my emails n send some photos to relatives n friends. however some emails were returned back to me due to d size of d files as i jz couldnt b stuffed editing n cropping d photos. we took hundreds of photos but i only sent 10 to most n 5 to those whose earlier emails were sent back to me.

dun worry la, when annabelle is more settled with her sleeping patterns, i will upload pics into here n u all can hav a peak k? if really cant wait, i've got a betta suggestion; come over to perth. then, u not only can see d hundreds of photos we took, u can also get to carry n cuddle baby annabelle :P

separation anxiety

yep, dat's wat i'm going thru at d moment.

i cant let it go no matter how much i tried. it has been with me for almost 3 yrs n has been with me thru it all; great times, not-so-good times n boring times... how am i gonna cope without it????

my DSC-F88 Sony camera.

d thing is, this camera allows u to camwhore as much as u want n without d dodgy proportion thanks to its rotating lens, thus minimizing the need to edit ur photos as u can see wat u r capturng. unfortunately, something is wrong with its lens n it doesnt capture anything altho other feature is still in immaculate condition. but shit i am fooling myself meh? a camera is in no condition whatsoever when it doesnt capture anything!!

too bad i have to let it go...

salmon head curry

ant’s been asking me to cook salmon head curry since last saturday when he bought salmon heads from d fish market n I finally cooked it last nite.

apparently, according to him la, my salmon head curry‘s really good. every time I cook it, he can actually finish 1 whole head by himself. i think it’s bcoz it’s fishy enuf for him. n I of course would only eat d vege in the curry n mayb some pieces of fish. coz, I am not a huge fan of oily fish due to its smell.

well, he was supposed to go tomolo but couldnt resist d temptation when edmund called. haha, guess he really missed fishing bac on xmas island, so this is betta than nothing. it's also good for him to go out once a while to get some time out than staying at home wif me all d time. i sometimes feel guilty dat he has to accompany me staying at home as i cant go out much, especially at night. bad lighting, scared i tripped wor...

hope he gets some fish la... unlike d last trip, went out at 9pm n came home at 3am empty handed. then, woke up super early on saturday to go fishing at d fish market... HAHAHA!! ant really farnie...

i did something unthinkable on feb 22nd. i chopped off about a foot in length of my hair. so far, only jill has seen it, so i figured i'll post some pics here to share...

went out jalan jalan wif jill ystd. haven't been going out wif her since some time edi.

she came to pick me up coz ant needed d car to run some errands (go beli sayur). then we went to northbridge for dimsum. yum... wanted to call her few days liao but i had bfast early ystd so didnt ajak her lo. mana tau, she called me at 11am for dimsum so i agreed (only stoopid ppl reject an offer to go makan ;-p).

thou we didnt eat a lot but it was satisying for me as i had been craving for the desserts for some time liao. we had har gao, pai guat, foong zhao, fried dumplings, fried mango prawn (seasonal availability), foo chok quen, and mango pudding, sago n tau foo fah. yumm...

then we went to Toys 'r Us to shop for baby things. she asked me few months ago wat i wanted so she as bub's kai ma can get for bub. so i kapsiaw n told her like a million things (which i also dunno wat they were edi). mana tau, she really wanna get all of them. hehehe. in the end, i only chose a few essential items jz so jill wont get me 1 of everything in d store.

musical mobile: hung above baby cot. it turns n plays lullaby.

playmat/playgym: it's got music n lights too.

(clockwise: r-l) water-filled teether, rattling socks, bath duck, gel-filled teether.

the bath duck has got a temperature things where it tells u if the water is too hot. how cool!!

after dat we went carousel to get my multivits from d pharmacy n she got hotdog n choco milkshake from Wendy's for Alex. n i got NOTHING for ant. hehehe...

Few days ago, a mate asked me how would normal labor pain be like. As honest as I can say, I really have no idea coz I haven't gone through it yet. However, here are a few comparisons I found:

1. From midwives at King Edwards Memorial Hospital, Perth:

When people are asked to rate the degree of pain from 1 (least painful) to 10 (most painful), labor pain is rated 20.

2. A line from the movie "Licence to Wed" said:

Thankfully, God is kind. Apparently once baby is out, the pain disappears and everything in 'there' returns to its prenatal state.
